Virtual classroom

It is possible to use classroom software remotely over the internet or from dormitory using VDI (virtual desktop) technology.

Using VMWare Horizon View, you can connect to same desktop as you were in school computer classroom and use its software.

How to access

Download and install client software

Client software for Windows, Linux and macOS can be downloaded from shared drive \\habr.vscht.cz\Install\Aplikace\VMware Horizon Client

Client for mobile device can be found in appropriate app store.

When using client program please check that your “Display protocol” is set to Blast and use “SSL proxy mode”.
In some version it can be named “protocol connection certificate checking mode” and it should be set to “Thumbprint or PKI Verification”.
Without it client connection mail fail.

Client connection is made to server vdistudovna.vscht.cz

Web access

Use web access to access from your browser window.

Data storage warning

Using remote classroom is like using it locally, just be aware that after logging out all data left on remote desktop etc. will be deleted.
To keep your data save them to your network home drive(Z:) or other kind of permanent network storage.
